First of get rid of the auto, it'll just blow up, you can install the turbo kit as the engine is, but you can run low boost (6-9psi), as with the gas setup, call gas research and speak to them about the gas

500+HP of 250 EFI Turbo............Coming Soon
I was running a turbo on an XP falcon. It was running a 4.1 alloy head E.F.I motor with a special grind cam, roller rockers and a decompression plate- no need for forged pistons. It was running at 8.3:1 comp. and I was running 600 cc injectors and a high flow fuel pump. The turbo was a T-4 Garret made to suit my engine(new) and had a 42 mm external wastegate(new). I was running a T-5 manual but had problems with the clutch slipping and then the gearbox breaking. Consequently I had a C-4 auto made up to suit with carbon fibre clutches, etc and a Dominator stally(2200 rpm). I also had an intercooler made up(new) which was quite large and very efficient. I ran a 3 inch exhaust( stainless and mandrel bent) with stainless and man. bent also used for the inter. piping. I can assure you that the car absolutely hauled and the torque at around 2200-3000 rpm was better than any car i've been in(including very quick V-8's). I also ran a Microtech comp. You alco have to get oil and water pipe connections and the biggest radiator that fits, along with a good fan/s. If you're interested, I have a lot of these parts left after I sold the car.....Whatever you do, do'nt skimp on oil and water cooling , or you'll kill your engine. Every turbo eng. should have an intercooler.

Unfotunately my XP was a stock bodied, original paint wagon in need of a paint job. I had the car for about 9 years, however having a wife and becoming a Dad meant it was never finished. It was a real sleeper but, even having stock 6" steel wheels. Unofficially, we timed it at around 12.7 over the quarter, and having driven a GTR(13.0 standard) the other day, that would have been about right......
