how much gas do you guys think it safe to run in a 351 windsor running 10.5 comp keith black hypa pistons stock balanced bottom end and rather large hydrolic cam. You probably need more info but you get the basic idear :fly:
was thinking around 100 to one fifty just dont know that much about the stuff dont know the pros and cons all i know is you go hell fast with 150 stuck up it

tuning, pressures, plugs, etc, etc will all depend.
But roughly on a stock bottom end, I wouldn't go much more than 150 for a lot of use, or if you just want a super-quick time bomb i'd stick 250HP in it.

thanks guys think i will try to find someone in north qld who has a good knowledge of this sort of thing . Would not want to stuff it now only just got the new motor started today should be tough but never hurts to have some gas in reserve

As TTNOS8 said be carefull, double check what fuel pressure your pump has, retard timing, and don't try to go too big a shot. And alot will depend on the health of your motor, set it up on a dyno and if the tuner has a knock box it will make ot all that much easier. When it's set up correctly it will be awesome.
We held a dyno day on the weekend and our BA XR8 ran 417.8 hp at the treads with 150 shot running BP Ultimate and 314.4 n/a.
I know it's not a windsor but it gives you some kind of idea.
