Re: how much gas

Depends alot on tune!!! But I waouldn't go over 150 h.p shot..
Retard timing alittle, and close plug gaps with colder plugs...

Re: how much gas

all depends.

what car, driveline, etc?

tuning, pressures, plugs, etc, etc will all depend.

But roughly on a stock bottom end, I wouldn't go much more than 150 for a lot of use, or if you just want a super-quick time bomb i'd stick 250HP in it.

Re: how much gas

Start with smaller jets and work your way up. 100hp is safe, 150 is satrting to push your luck. 200 and bang is likely.

Re: how much gas

DO NOT just fit jets and work upwards.

100HP may not be safe.

200 may be safe.

Thats why I've left my previous thread at "all depends"

Depending on what fuel pressure it is, comp, plugs, timing, etc, etc will change air/fuel ratio heaps and be the difference between safe and BOOM!

Give us some more details 1bad51 before you do anything you might regret. Pleeeeasssse

Re: how much gas

If you need to know anything about setting it up safely, then just ask.

There are plenty of us on here that have played with gas to no end.

Is it going to be a mainly street engine?

Re: how much gas

As TTNOS8 said be carefull, double check what fuel pressure your pump has, retard timing, and don't try to go too big a shot. And alot will depend on the health of your motor, set it up on a dyno and if the tuner has a knock box it will make ot all that much easier. When it's set up correctly it will be awesome.
We held a dyno day on the weekend and our BA XR8 ran 417.8 hp at the treads with 150 shot running BP Ultimate and 314.4 n/a.
I know it's not a windsor but it gives you some kind of idea.

If we can help, we will.
