ok i know capa make a kit for this but looking at the prices they are pretty expensive.

EA-EB-ED 6 cyl 3.9L Multi point

are there any other places that make s/c kits for this engine?
yella terra currently make s/c kits for 6 and 8 holdens.
would you like to see them develop a kit for fords?

seems way cheaper than capa. i know the power increases arent has high though but if they designed a kit for the ford maybe it would come close without the rather large price tag.

Easy answer is to put a turbo on it mate. Much better torque and .....wait for it....usually more power. No belts either. Those powerdynes are not noted for thier reliability.
Powerdynes and Vortecs are great but they need a few revs to start making a descent difference.
Twin screws are better but development of them for the 6 isn't really there.
The upgrade kit is for holden factory s/c engines i think.
Turbo can be done under $6000. Correct tuning method is the main hurdle. Don't cut corners here! Mild setup on around 7psi could have you up around 180-200rwkw. Theres plenty of great sucess stories out there for you.

I'm happy enough with the Turbo that i'm doing some development of my own on a V8 windsor... And i've had a Vortec.

yeah i know turbo would be my first option..
i was just wondering how much interest there is in s/c kits for a 6 and 8

As AU2XLSV8 said, turbo is the way to go on the I6 engines. The CAPA kits seem expensive but they are a complete kit, every last bolt is included. All those little things that peole don't think of quickly add up.
