Supercharging my ZH Fairlane

I am interested in supercharging my old tank, the 302 clevo. Is there a good site that has stuff for the old engines? What sort of $ am I looking at. And does it effect performance having it all under the bonnet? I don't like the idea of putting holes in my bonnet. If the bonnet was ment to have extra holes in it, Mr. Ford would have made it that way.

How do people find their fuel ecconomy on cars they have owned that they have supercharged? Is this effected because its even more tempting to plant the foot?

Economy? I can't remember what that is.

If you go centrifugal blower it'll be under the bonnet. No problems with that, just fills up your engine bay and you may or may not come across some heat related problems. For instance, I had to replace my belt fan with a pair of electric fans (which of course helps power anyway), but I don't run them 99% of the time and I manually switch em on when the temp rises (like when sitting in traffic).

Actually I'm not sure what kinda setup is the best for old (and I'm assuming carbi) engines.

ED XR6 Sedan - Cammed, Ported, Polished, Shaved, Decked, Blown, Intercooled, Extracted, Hi-Stalled, Chipped.

including e new exhaust urr looking at the best part of 9k.

i have plans to fit a vortex to my ed 302 w & i expext to have no change out of 10 k when im finished
