I found this page on making a manifold, It looks allright to me, but could it be made better? Im making one for a ea falcon so i need some ideas.

looks fairly standard for a custom made header. Sometimes you cant get things ideal, either because of space, or you simply cant fabricate it how you would like. dont know about using a hole saw, do yourself a favor and get someone to laser cut the flanges. much easier!

Where the pipes join before collector approx 1/2 can be cut from each primery pipe and joined to the shape of a 4 leaf clover.So the gasses are still condensed before entering turbo..Much like collectors are done on extractors...
Go to most exhaust shops that make extractors etc..They'll have flange plates there....Bolting f/ plate to some rsj and mildly preheating whole plate helps with warping and cracking also....Either way though you are not building a F 1 engine....

I just had another look, the collector is bassically the only different thing on it, like EBxr said, thats the thing you would look at changing maybe.

I had a go on my pipes yesterday, hers a pic. Unusually good welding from me too lol.

arc welder, about 80 amps 2.5mm satincraft 13 rod. The pipe is 3.2mm steel i think.
What would it cost to get a manifold like this ceramic coated like that 4cyl one? That coating makes it look a lot better
