Turbo for bronco 4x4 250

Hi, I looking at putting in a garrett T04 to a ford 6 250ci alloy Xflow for towing a big boat
I'll try and keep it basic as possible, so will the standard (old) bottom end be ok
It has a single barrel stromberg on it- Can/will this be ok if jetted up?
Where can i get the turbo (new) for a good price?
i'll be keeping an eye out for a 2nd hand exhaust manifold
wastgate-blowoff valve? (maybe cam?) and anything else i need (&need to know about for this setup?)

Re: Turbo for bronco 4x4 250

Well i've heard you can get GT40 turbo's brand new from Ford for around the $2,000 mark, they're internally gated too, so you save money there.

I don't know much about using carbies with turbo's, but I believe a suck through setup is simpler to setup, anthough you can't use an intercooler with them.

Low boost, draw through C.V type carb like Stromberg Same as used on Torana XU1's] or big S.U..Is what they used back then...
