Hi I wanna either put a turbo in my BA XR6 or supercharge it.

what do you pro's out their recommend?

and cost approximations would b good.

If you just want a drive-in drive-out package thats good n cheap then a CAPA supercharger kit would be the best.

Otherwise I would go for a turbo although you have to ask yourself why you didnt buy an XR6T in the first place? Maybe you should trade?

Ima turbo fan..But in your case I'd go the s/c route...Bolt on drive away...
One thing I'd fit though is some kind of boost referance..Where it retards under boost...Haltech or MSD have spark devices for this...As std spark advance is too agresive for blown engine...

got my car from auctions for way under RRP (at the time i bought it)

Congrats, ive been tempted myself.

If you can afford it then most definitely go turbo. Maybe even just get an engine transplant from an XR6T.

I know its the real motor but how much would thay retail for ??

No idea, i rekon you'd be around that mark. If JETXR can shoehorn one into an EL then im sure a BA transplant would be bolt in. Personally i would get a rebuild and get all custom stuff (god i hate that electronic throttle), there are many areas in which the BAs fall short IMO. But i got no idea what his budget is so donno really...

I'd go for the capa supercharger kit its $ 5,695.00 for a bolt on vortech kit that'll have your car pumping out around 305kw. http://www.capa.com.au/kits_ford.htm scroll down about half way to see it.
