Re: Turbo or Supercharger?

Blower is simple vertually fit and go...CAPA etc..
Turbo's are not usually a kit so everything has to custom made. I'm assuming this is a six !!
But power and torque... turbo..But may cost more.. depend on what you do yourself!!

Re: Turbo or Supercharger?

I just looked into both, Blower from Capa and Turbo (stage 2 kit) from TSA. Both are basically kits and both seem to put out similar power (up to 180rwkl). Guess what, both are similar price fitted... minimum change if any from $7500.

So there you go, take your pick. And the differences? Well, based on what I've been told the blower is a steady and predictable increase in power as the revs increase while the turbo comes on with a whoosh at about 2000rpm.

Talk to Hotdbz and Falkeen, they are the ones that can help.

ebxr8240, yours is one extreme setup ... sounds very custom (and very, very nice!!) but I think shayne might be looking at some sort of pre made kit type setup.

Re: Turbo or Supercharger?

8 Lp is fairly rich will be re-tuning it a bit leaner, should make more power.Mainly want leaner off boost...Too hard on plugs and they take about 3-4 hours to change !!! Thanks to 2 X4" dump pipes...
Should look into a MSD type ignition etc..
