Basically there's a pressure switch hooked up to the brake booster vac line. When manifold pressure reaches 3psi the switch is closed. This triggers the pump which pumps water up to the nozzle which sprays into intake just before blower.
The water tank is located in the front right guard. There's a level switch on there which will bring on a light when water level gets low.

Some one said to me that a washer bottle with a hose leading to intake should do the job ...However no pump on it..So that vaccumm sucks water in..is this ok?Ivwe been thinking of a pump with a fine mist spray ...
I guess on a n/a engine that would theoretically work.... I assume you mean somewhere between the airbox and the throttle body?
Would be a no-go on boost applications as the water must be sprayed in prior to the air being compressed. In the setup you describe, that would basically just blow bubbles in the washer bottle when under boost. Lol.

one problem when using water injection is the water can be sucked in when not in use it is best to fit a mechanical solenoid as close to the jet as possible and use a very high pressure pump as the water is only truly effective if vapourised properly, but water injection is a band aid fix IMO, but good for quick bursts Drags, Dyno ect ect.
definetly a good read, gives me a different perspective of water injection, in some aspects i wonder to what degree you can use water injection on a n/a motor, and what if any improvements can be made?
