Water sprays.

Has anyone fitted water sprays to their intercoolers? I live in North Queensland where the temps reach the high 30's and seem to be affecting performance. I would like to know if it is worth the hassle or not. I have a bigger intercooler coming in the next week or two from Herrods and was thinking of plumbing up a water spray to it if it would help.
