Now, I just had the head gasket done plus with the news that the head was in the shape of a banana a new head was put in. Upon inspection and some inspections from Karl and Wayne I found out the the head a rocker cover are from an EF/EL. Obviously all this is a good thing but the car's initial take-off reaction isn't as good as before.

I'm sure that there is something else that can be taken from the EF/EL engine and placed into mine to return to or better it's performance similar to that of before. All I need to know is what is that part(s).

The compressiom may be lower with new head ???
The E/F inlet manifold I guess but you need a system to make it variable like the EF eec does...
XR6 fuel regulator...

Yeah, I think it's the injectors. Rang the mechanic and said that the compression might be too low and that's why it's still shaking a bit.

Would putting EF/EL injectors make a difference to the overall scene?

They [inj] are the same to my knowledge. The XR 6's had higher fuel pressure..To make them flow more...

Ahhh, no worries. Think I'll get the injectors reconditioned and pressure tested then. Thanks for the help!
