i was wondering about the bov on the xr6 turbo and what could be done to make the standard bosh valve louder.the valve is a plumb back could you block the return hose on the manifolding and leave it open on the bov venting to atmosphere?would this cause any probs?
Why would you ??? not only would it sound bloody ridiculous, it would look absolutely ridiculous coming from an xr6t !!
While your at it, invest in one of them exhaust flame thrower thingys to make it look really sic.LMAO......some people have no idea.

oh who cares, some people want to have loud BOVs some want loud V8 exhausts, is there really any difference, it all sounds good in different peoples opinion. And forget bout the coppas, everyone else has a BOV anyway why cant you.
DIECAST, you can buy an aftermarket BOV that will do the job nicely. If you want to save a bit of cash go for an aftermarket Jap brand like G-Redy or HKS (used).
I would recommend going for a Turbosmart product, they seem to have a good rep and are used in a lot of hi-po cars. You can get sequential BOVs that only make a big whoosh when you shift at high revs so you dont get unnecesary attention when you changing at 30kmh or wateva. You can also get adjustable ones so you can keep it loud and just turn the knob to make it loud whenever you want.
