Yep thats it, just undo those two screws, and gentley pull the light housing out enough till you get to the globe holders, turn them and presto !.. there are your globes, reverse this to put back together
Thanks guys, but the inside the boot looking at the where lights are there dosen't seem to be anywhere in as the plate is welded covering the lights, i dunno
nah you dont do it from inside the boot, you do it from outside where the tail light is.. you need to move this to the side and you will see the lights behind that
odom will just have a blown globe, which is a matter off pulling out the ashtray surround to get to the screws and remove the outer surround around the cluster and dash vents etc
Undo the four screws holding the cluster in and remove and unplug cluster. Replace bulb (use a genuine one from ford) and holder assembly which screws into back of dash. Refit and all done.
I would like to be able to change the lights in my dash, going to go for blue, wouldnt even mind a carbon fibre dials thing to
Only problem is i am not confident enough to pull apart my dash and mess about under there, is there anywhere i would be able to take it to get it done, or anyone off these forums want to show me how to swap it all over ?
yep will be the globe the globes are about $4 i think the new dials are around 200.00 for white faced ones. have a go at doing it yourself you will learn something about youre car and save some money along the way.
aye, i would like to do it myself, just dont want to break anything thats the only problem.. not that flush with cash to fork out for my f*****s thats all :)
