Help,

I've checked the switch for power and ground. Everything looks fine. I tried a new motor but will not go up, down works great. I cross jumped the motor terminals of my old motor and the window went up...but only a bandaid.

The switch from driver door and the door switch both go down not up. Any idea why power is to all the way to the motor but will not work?

PS it sucks to drive your truck with the window down in august....in arizona.

I bet there is a bad wire in the harness running through the door. I have seen this many times.

I have power to the motor for both up and down wires. Both wires are grounded. I've only used a test light to verify but with a bad wire would I show power to and from the switch? Could I have a defective circuit breaker that did not reset itself properly?

ps the a/c works better with the window up
