I recently purchased a 2016 Ford Edge SEL. Where is the ignition slot to be used when the key fob is dead and you need to manually start the car? I've looked at the manual and it states that it is located in the floor console, however I still cannot find it.
Thanks for the pics! Is that located in the console in-between the driver and passenger? If so, mine does not look like that. It's all plastic w/out any USB ports. Could it be located somewhere else in the 2016?
I've located the 2016 owners manual. Its located in the console between the seats. Just to the left of the power point, there is a slot for the key fob. Place the fob into the slot, buttons facing the rear of the vehicle and the key ring facing up.
Thanks everyone.. We figured it out! Much appreciated!
