this is my problem I turn the key and get one click-so i changed the selinoid and sometimes i get the one click and sometimes it tries to start but it acts like the battery is dead. (when I get the click if i tap on the starter it will engage) The battery is good not even a year old, changed battery cables. had starter tested and it is good. SOMEBODY HELP PLEASE

Check to see if there is a full 12V being applied to the solenoid from the ignition switch. If not, there is probably insufficient power to pull it in.

Check wiring to switch and switch itself. May have to instal a relay to run 12V directly from battery (a lot of Falcons from XD on had this mod as the inhibitor switches on the autos used to get a fair voltage drop across them once they became a bit worn!)
