Sorry for the long story like but basically -
My dad has a 2003 Ford focus with 29k on the clock.
The otherday the handbrake light and ABS light came on and wouldnt go off, so we took it to an independant ford dealer who said the computer that controled the brakes had broke and we required a new one costing £800. After unplugging it and putting it back in we got the lights to go out. The lights are now flashing on and off now and again so im guessing the computer is kind of working. Does anyone know anything we can try to sort the computer out before we fork out £800 for a new computer.
