Help! All of a sudden, the accessories in my 1972 Galaxie have stopped working when the car is running. They work fine when the ignition switch is in the ACC position but the turn signals, fan, radio, etc. don't work at all when the key is in the "run" position or when the car is started. Any ideas?

Thanks for the reply Kurt, but I don't believe the alternator is the issue. It's new and has been tested and the battery keeps a charge just fine. The accessories all work fine when the key switch is in the ACC position. When the switch is in the RUN position (whether the engine is on or off) the accessories don't work at all - no signals, wipers, defrost fan, radio...thanks again!

I would check the ignition switch. Not the key cylinder, but the actual electrical switch mounted on the column, under the dash.
