My Air con is stuffed. There is a leak in the compressor, and so i need a new one, What i want to know is what i should expect to pay to get this fixed.

I have been quoted $700+, the guy said that you need to change the dryer as well(he said it should get changed every time you open the system) is he ripping me off. If so does anyone know a good auto-electrition, in the shire(sutherland).

I would also like to know how many hours work this job is?

I think you have had good advice and a fair quote. 1 - 2hours work assuming the will replace all the o ring seals at the same time.
