I have a '96 ford explorer with a factory alarm. Here lately it has become psychotic. the alarm goes off all the time for no reason at all ... even if i have just hit the disarm button. I don't have a clue where to begin with this. I actually unhook the battery cable at night just so i can sleep. Its really erratic when it goes off .... can be 10 mins or 30 secs after i hit the button. Any ideas please......
Hi, check all door switches including bonnet switch, and lastly, if your vehicle has a shock sensor, i would disconnect it, just to elinminate it even if its not the problem.
