Anyone put in any recaro style seats out of a jap car into their beast. If so from what jap car and how easy or hard was it??? Really want a set of WRX buckets but not sure if they will look to small???

Wouldnt think it would be too hard. if the holes through the floor didn't line up could always make a adaptor plate? Motor Trimer would be the one to ask about it. Tell you what seats I like are the electric Explorer seats (not the leather ones).

Dont forget, any changes to the seat mounting points and you have to get it engineered(for good reason)

The last thing youd want is the seat mounts to break in an accident....

hmmm, from what i recall, Michael (eb on nos) has seats like that, so you might check with him.

I've got 2 Sparco race seats in my EB.
All u need 2 do is make up, 2 adaptor
plates per seat.
I used 3mm mild steel for the plates
and 5mm flat bar for height spacers,
their 2 allow clearance 4 the runners
2 slid.
It's very simple.
Let me know if u need accurate measurements.

Cheers for the replies guys - and Micheal I will probably need to get hold of you once I find some seats. It wasnt untill after I wrote this msg that I thought...most of you guys have XR6 & XR8`s so your interiors are already sweet. I only have the soul of a tickford the body is still only a simple Gli.
