HelloNNNewman Registered User Join Date: Jan 2005 Posts: 1	Another beep code question... I've searched the forums and haven't found an answer to this one... My brother has a '99 F250 and someone tried to break into it the other night. They messed up the locks and then proceeded to break the shifter on the steering column. Well.. he's replaced the broken collar on the column, but now gets the following 'beep' error code - <5 long beeps> then a <long pause>... repeating 5 times. So it's 5 series of 5 beeps with a long pause separating each series. He is getting a HUGE drain on the battery and can't figure out what the cause is and is going crazy trying to find the problem. Anyone have any potential answers to this one?? :) THANKS!
