Hey guys, this is proving to be rarer than hens teeth.I've tried a number of Ford dealerships and they all tell me they only come as a complete unit. To get the chrome button you have to buy the leather Ghia or T-series at just short of $240.00. Forget that! I rang a few wreckers and no luck! I even rang electroplaters, but no-one in Brisbane handles plastic. I reeeeeeally want one. Someone must know someone, or know of a button or whole t-bar somewhere. I can't believe this $5.00 piece of plastic is harder to find than an honest politician

I had the same problem,I had a normal EL T/Bar on my NA Fairlane and the button broke,usually this happens when screwed down too tight,as I found out.Luckily I found a new DL LTD Leather one at a Swapmeat for $40,only had to paint it black with vinyl paint,now the chrome button matches my DA LTD door trims.

I painted mine platinum Silver - the same colour as the auto selector surround on AU2/3. IMO, it looks just as good and at 7.95 per can of paint, it's about 30 times cheaper than the alternative.
