Any idea how to fit the factory cruise control after the fact?
Accordng to Ford Customer Service Division (FCSD) it was a Dealer Fitted Option.

Fitted heaps when i was working at a Ford dealership. Get a kit (should still be available from Ford) and fit it yourself. If you have any questions, let me know.

Real easy to do mate. I bought a cruise kit through the trading post of all places and fitted it myself.

I bought one only six months ago for my Dad's AU ute. Cost me $500 bucks from my friendly local ford dealer.....

They are a piece of p**s to fit too!

Ok thanx, whats in the exactly, the steering wheel buttons, right hand indicator selector arm. Anything else? I am gong to the wreckers and wondering if i can grab all the parts I need there?

You will also need the brake switch and the swith that attaches to the brake slave cylinder in the engine bay. I had that last swith fitted by a dealer just to be safe. Good luck with it mate.
