au farilane, computer mods?

just wanting to know if there is any diffrence in the computers that are in the fairlanes. this is an au v8.

just looking for some more power and wondering wether or not these computers can be touched for some bigger power gains. i beleve these engines are around 175kw spec.

is it hard geting at least 185kw, like the xr8?. we dont realy want to touch the exhaust if we have to.

Re: au farilane, computer mods?

The V8 ECU in the fairlane is the same as other stock V8's AFAIK.

Being the same motor they respond to the same mods as all the other V8's. Due to the way the EEC works it will respond fairly well to engine mods without having to be chipped. It all depends on how far you go.
