AU Leather

I wanna get some leather from the T-Series (a small piece about 30mm x 20mm). I want to get it to match my leather console lid and handbrake. You know the warm charcole with some bumps in it. See link, for the type of leather i'm after.

See this pic:

I wanna just cover a plate/shelf with the leather. But the problem is, how can i get hold of some of the leather?

Any ideas? Thanks

Re: AU Leather

Ford should still carry that trim in stock, you might have to buy a full seat skin though........

Thanks buddy, lemme know when you find out. The problem with going to an auto trimmer's is that i want the same color/feel of leather.

I'll ring up and ask em, and see whats the go. I'm not after that much. Inside my center console, I wanna make a shelf, about a third of the way up, to hold like my switches and stuff. And I wanna leather it, to make it look professional and neat.

I want two of those for the rear seat of my wagon, I made an enquiry with Ford a while ago and they were still available as a spare. They came uncovered and if I remember correctly the price was around $60.00 each. They could also supply the material to cover them too.

cheers
