My mate put the full EA interior into an XF including ALL the trim and seats but not the dash. He is a bit clueless so id say it wouldnty be that hard. He said everything lined up nicely.
That would be correct to ED ( is the XG/XH the same as the ED apart form Dash??) i presume but im not sure about EF to AU.

You could put an XG interior into an XF no troubles at all, and even maybe the XH which was the EF/EL ute interior in also as it had the same doors and dash as the XG, except for a few things.

He must have had major problems with the door trims :)

If the E series dash fits X series Falcs, Ford would have used it on the XG/H rather than update the XF dash, so I don't think it would fit.

As for the AU seats, 'im pretty sure they use an integral seat belt buckle so would require modified (stronger) mounts as I think the XF used a stalk style buckle.
Going from memory, isn't the XF inner rear seat mount sitting on a raised section of the floorpan? if so the E series is different as its flat.

I think I have heard about this before, from memory the seats will fit but you need to use xg/xh rails because of the different floor shapes

ok well Im half way thru doing a XF/EA swap, because Im selling my EA and want some things from it into my XF! Iv only done the front seats, u have 2 swap the rails, and even after that its a tiny bit out but will fit, the back seat from the XF (bottom and back rest) wont fit the EA, dunno bout the other way round, umm doortrims why even bother? and dash, I bout it.
I know this is bout XF/AU but yeah...

what about fitting AU seats into an EL Futura?

Ive noticed, when going hard, the seats in my dads AU Fairlane Ghia hold your body better when cornering than the EL Futura's do...
