Can someone please tell me if AU2/3 Fortes/Futuras came with an overhead console (i.e. to hold sunnies etc). I know Fairmonts did, but just not sure on the lower models.

Some pics would be great too.

To the best of my knowledge I dont think any of the lower spec models had the roof console only fairmont and XR range. I can say my au2 xr8 ute has it and its the best thing for sunnies.

alright, does yours have the little reading lights in it? Trying to find what model has one that DOESNT have them because i wont be able to wire them up without taking the roof lining off.

Yes, all in the one moulded console, two swivelling reading lights at the front and the sunny compartment at the rear with a spring latch to open it.
