Does anyone know whether Fairmont Ghia lights in bumper bar are driving or fog? I would like to know where to purchase them from. I would prefer driving lights rather than fog. Thanks

I didn't think they made either for the AUs.

EArly in the AU Ghia had them, somewhat controversial for Ford I remember the police didn't like something about them?

I think you are talking about the BA. Don't remember any factory foggies on AUs

Hi There, AU's never has fog lights as standard, only on the factory body kit was that available, the light u are talking about were the BA Fairmont Ghia which only had the intenisty of a parker( a little brighter than that anyway) but were deemed under the ADR's as ilegal as they were not switchable to off mode

AU TS50's came with fog lights factory fitted.

Damn, I was hoping no-one would notice! I did think of the Tickford cars while typing that, but hey we were talking about the standard AU front after all.

All correct - no AU bar the TS/TE models had fog/aux lamps of any sort. However it is possible to fit them to an AU Fairmont front end. If you have a look in your front airdam, there'll be 2 black plastic covers, one on either side of the airdam, take them off (they just clip on and off), and you'll see where you can fit them.

However, finding a light that fits in there is another story .
