Since I got my AUII XR6 I have noticed that the power windows are quite slow, in particular going up. Well on the weekend I was no longer able to get the passenger one down using the drivers door control. It worked (still slowly) both up and down from the passenger door, and up only from the drivers door.
How many other people have had problems with their power windows, and how were Ford about fixing them?
I have read the thread on the Ford dealer in Newcastle (thankfully I'm not up there) so should keep an eye out for them damaging my tint etc.
I think a lot of the problems are to do with the slip coat on the window seal (or lack of), maybe helped by using a silicon release agent on the window track
CRC 808 is the go, available at most harware stores. Shines up your tyres and other plastic/rubber things a treat as well.
