My 2000 Windstar has the annoying automatic door lock feature, locks doors when you put it in drive. Manual says the dealer can shut it off. How can I do it myself, save some money?

My freind's 2001 F150 PU has the same thing, his manual tells the sequence to shut it off, but that didn't work on my 2000.

You could always try asking the dealer how they do it?
