hey all, have problem with 98 ford falcon battery, just changed batterys other was completely drained and dead, and battery light in dash still comes on also have replaced the terminals as was a fair bit of corrosion, the new battery has already died once, any help would be appreciated.

If your battery light is on, it'd be a safe bet your alternator is cactus mate.

definately sounds like an alternator/charging circuit issue

The indicator light indicates if the Alternator is functioning. If the new battery has died, your alt is broken.
