blue dash lights

hello all,

just a probably silly question, but i really want neon blue dash lights in my car, i've seen them in an EA and i thought they were cool. where do i go to get them? can i do it myself? i have an AU2 XLS ute if that makes a difference. will i still be able to see the needles?

if anyone has any information it would be appreciated!

Re: blue dash lights

They're not neons, they are LED's.
You can buy the to suit 12v otherwise you will have to buy a resistor for each as they generally only like 3v.

I did this mod to my car, my dash is digital and it looks great. :D

Power by me 360rwkw

Re: blue dash lights

Can you explain in a little more detail, is it as simple as triming the legs of the led's and sliding them in place. Do you run the resistor straight off the positive of the resistor? any pics would be great. email
