Body Control Module
Hi,
After driving long distances or on hot days, if I turn my car off and then restart it to go on a further trip, it will not start. It won't even attempt to turn over but makes a kind of long whoomp sound. Electric lights up though. I pop the bonnet usually and after about 2o minutes it starts.
I have noticed that if I give the BCM a whack underside whilst turning key it will start (pity I didnt know that during the last three months of planning trips carefully).
Who knows if this is really a bcm problem and why its happening. What should I do and further look out for.
