Broken Front power window

Ok, I think this is common. Powered the window up last night and half way up... *CRACK*

And the window fell slowly back into the door, never to return.

What happened ?

I need my window to close, and its cloudy ...

Please help :(

re

What ever you do dont push the button to make i go up and down. I made this mistake last week and now I need a new window motor. Have a look at this article on how to fix it.

I kept using my windows when i had this problem and had to buy new motors for all doors! The metal spline on the motor had stripped!

After driving in the rain with the window open for 40mins, i took it to FOrd and they fixed it for free, took them an hour and a holf though.

I think it was the clip that snapped.
