Hey Guys,

I'v had a problem with the volume control button's and cruiz control button's on the steering wheel and the horn, on my AU2 XR6.....they no longer work!!!!! I have checked most of the smaller fuses, but they all look fine, could it be a broken conection in the wirering??? I realy don't know...... anybody had this before??

Sorry, dunno mate.

My best guess would be a problem with the clock-springs in the steering column (the connections which allow the wheel to turn around without twisting the wires etc.)

It's weird that all the button's are dead, but this could be explained if they all run off a common earth wire (which seems reasonably likely to me), in that case maybe it's the clock-spring for that earth wire which has broken (or it may not be the clock-spring either - could be a break in the actual wire somewhere).

Check the harness at base of column is not partially or totally unplugged.
