Hey there,

Just wondering what you use to hold glue down for carpet when you put new carpet down. I used a glue gun but it doesn't hold. Its really annoying me because it keeps coming up!

weight it or tape it down and use clear silastic or sikaflex...

i used this glue called 'sticks anything to anything' it can be found in safeway or a hardware store. done the trick!

What sort of carpet are we talking about?

you can use spray contact adhesive for lighter duty stuff, or the brush-on stuff for heavy duty. We've always used the brush-on stuff for boats and it's NEVER come off.

You can buy them both from bunnings.
