Hey all

i got this problem with my central locking, i can only lock and unlock the doors from the drivers side. if i try to lock or unlock the doors from the front passenger side it just locks it and unlocks it again. I think the central locking kit in my car is not stock they might have change it because the old ones died or maybe it had to be changed when they installed the piranha alarm system.

i realised that when i lock the door from the drivers side the drivers side door locks first then u hear the motor turning the other 3 doors down, is it because its only has one master lock and the other 3 are slaves? i guess the stock central locking doesnt work like this

the stock one has 2 masters, most after market have 2 masters as well, but i have seen some cheaper units with only 1 master.

mabe check wiring, or buy a new kit (they are pretty cheap these days)

Also check out the linkages on the motor. These can cause minor issues, though it does sound more like, as above, it's only got one master.
