cool cheap dash mods for ea-ed

i had one of my good mates who is quite a good painter to paint my orange needles, silver they look heapsgood. also i bought some orange silicone sleeves for the globes in my dash now at night instead of the crappy yellow lights my dash lights up with an awesome orange red glow. itried green ones but they didnt work. these mods were performed for $2.95 for the silicone sleeves from autobarn and the paint used for the needles was for car models. istress that when painting the needles you must be careful. as i said i got my mate to do it as he has a steady hand. i have pics of the silver needles at daytime but the night time shots didnt turn out so for $3.00 you can have a cool dash which looks similar to BMW dashes and it is certainly an improvement over thecrappy yellow.

This is because the EA-ED dash has the "crappy yellow" filter built in, so what ends up happening when you put green sleeves on, is you get green mixed with yellow (i.e. YUCK!).

Because of this, you pretty much can change them to any variation of yellow/orange. I've made mine red and it looks brilliant!!! Good to hear you're happy with yours, it's amazing the difference it makes, isn't it?
