in general, on any car, is there any way to make your airconditioning any colder?

can you make more air rush onto the aircon pipes under the bonnet therefore making it colder, or can you heat shield the pipes, or are they are cold as they can get?

do the EA's have a seperate radiator for the air con ? i know vl's do so maybe thats something to look at. increase the radiator size if it has one.

Not really sick... the coolness of the air depends mainly on the size of the evaporator... The air con system cools by the expansion of the gas in the evaporator core (Just the opposite too when heat is produced by compressing air) so the pressure of the refigerant also contributes to the overall performance of the air con system. The pressure is controlled by the thermostatic valve or expansion vaLVE (TX) this pressure is set to obtain sufficent cooling but at the same time regulate the pressure on the a/c components. Sure you could increase pressure, however there is the risk of leaking seals, and other area's of weakness in the system... so too answer yer Q, no there isnt much you can do too increase the cooling of yer A/C.
