crazy EBs2 electrical probs

my parents EB series 2 wagon is experiencing some crazy electrical probs... as follows (1993, 275,000 km's)

- always blows RH rear brake light (within ~ 20 mins of installing a new one)
- when you hit the brakes, the dash lights come on
- occasionally, the car wont switch off, until you put foot on the brakes (ie,you turn the key to "off" position and the car continues to run)
- when you turn the lights on, the dashlights WONT come on (unless foot on brake)

all fuses relays etc seem fine...!

any ideas ?

Re: crazy EBs2 electrical probs

Might just be easier to find another dash from a wreckers and bolt it in.....
I suggest problems caused by whoever did the immobiliser (assuming it has one)
