to my fellow ford fans,
I recently hooked up a trailer to my el fairmont, tried usin cruise, but it didn't work. I figured that probably coz the trailor was connected. Anyway, now that the trailor isn't connect, my cruise still won't turn on...
If anyone can help, it will be much appreciated.

btw, the cruise crapped itself ever since i had hooked up the trailor

only thing i can think of that the trailor and your cruise control would have in common is the brake lights/switch.

have you checked that the brake lights are still working, the trailor might have a short and blown the fuse.

i cheked my brakes, it was the barke switch... just changed it a few wks ago
