anyone ever tried to change the colour of their dash??
thing is ive got an AU1 and as im sure your all aware these things are way too light (as in colour not weight). thing is i dont want just a smooth finish as if ive sprayed over it all, i would like the texture of the dash still there, thats why i was thinking maybe a stain would be better?? yes i might be dreaming!
im going to be spraying the centre dash pod with a 2 pack finish (dark blue or something) so all id need to worry about is the rest of it, which concerns me as its sort of a spongy material.
id also use a material dye of some sort for the carpets - floor and roof. if any of you guys have had any experience in this area any help would be good. if not i might just go down to a car trimmers and get their opinion.

We sprayed a dash at work in 2-pack it looked alright, I ended up buying the ute about a year later and the paint was all chipped and scratched so if you do paint it you would have to be real carefull of it.
