Does anyone know (or have an owners manual) what is the RED warning light between the windscreen washer light and the fuel low light on the dash.
It looks like a radiator & fan - the car is running very rough (on 5 cylinders) and I fear it is a water warning light - posibly indicating a blown head gasket - your help is NEEDED!!!!
Yep definetly coolant level. Top it up and if it's still showin, you've probably got yourself a blown headgasket, which is like shedding baby teeth for EA's
or your switch that lives in the radiator tank has become loose, does this to me all the time......go to the wreckers and by yaself a new one (assuming you have heaps of coolant still in there) If no coolant, say hello to a new headgasket!
haha, thanks to that light it has made me aware that i have a cracked head. I go through water ever 2-4days, fully pressure tested. the most likely reason is that one of the galleys in the head is cracked and is leaking water into the pistons.. the heat just evaporates it and it leaves as exhaust
yep - blown it - thanks for your advice guys - now off to the ea doctor.....
