Re: dash light blown

Best bet: Get a maintenance manual. For $50 it tells you how to do all that stuff.

Failing that, find a friendly auto electrician. They usually will help you out with problems like that if you buy a set of headlight globes or similar!!

Good luck!

Re: dash light blown

Screw-holes are everywhere in the EB dash & centre console! I'm sorry but I can't remember off the top of my head, but I think there are three screwholes in the top of the dash (from underneath pointing up). Not sure about down lower though, coz I've only taken the top ones out so I can bend that part out & get access to the f**king clock light which has gone out on me a couple of times now.

Just run your fingers all around the dash until you feel screwholes, then unscrew! Don't be afraid to have a tug (at the dash ), as the plastic seems to be pretty hardy stuff.

Best of luck mate

Re: dash light blown

three screws above the dash cluster...

then remove the two switch pods (for boot/fuel release and central locking) and yo'll find two screws holding the base of the surround in place. remove those and then youll be able to remove the black surround.

Then its 4 screws (one in each corner) that hold the actual cluster in. Be careful at first, lever it out slowly so you can get your hand behind and unclip the wiring connections. Then you can yank it out.

Bulbs for the warning jewels are along the bottom of the cluster.

hope this helps
