Hiya,

I have an EF GLI

Im having a problem with my fans.

When i switch to speed #2 it goes for a little bit and slows down to speed #1. Same with #3 it also slows down to #1.

So basically I only have a #1 and BOOST.

I hope this makes sence.

What can I do to fix this? Get the whole aircon panel replaced... sounds like a dodgy switch. Replace solonoid?

#1 is too weak, and Boost is too loud!! :D

Anyhelp would be appreciated.

It doesn't sound like the switch, I'd guess its the resistor pack that controls the fan speeds.

I got a quote from ford for a resistor pack... 44 dollars!! WHAT A RIP!

Might try to operate myself or go down to the wreckers...
