hi. i did a search but did not find anything.

i have a 99 taurus

i am having problems with my door locks. The driver side always unlocks, but the other doors do not. They don't work with the keyless entry button nor with pushing the unlocking button from the driver door. anyone ever experience this problem. when i push the buttons, they attempt to open but never quite make it there. any help would be appreciated.

have you tried to reprogram the remote pad(s)? New battery in pads?
can you sit in car with all doors locked and open one (front or back, not drivers door) with interior pull of each door and what should happen and what does happen?
Does the Taurus have a divided locking system, ie the pad can be programmed to open just the driver door and leave all others locked?
EF (94) wagon I have is one press opens all, AU11 (2000) wagon has divided programable pads.
Sedan has two button pad for door and boot, EF has one button pad, unlocks all
