Does anyone know if the door map pockets can be removed and attached?
I have a brown interior and i cant find brown ones. I want to try and remove them from grey ones and attach them (if possible), but i would have to spray them brown, Has anyone done this, or know if this is possible?
Also, if anyone knows where to get some brown door trims, from a fairmont ghia LET ME KNOW ASAP
dead easy to remove, takes a bit of fiddling to get the screw holes lined up to put them back on. there's 4 or 5 screws at the back holding them on. I did this to my GL before i got my Ghia interior. I only threw the bloody GL trims (with map pockets) out a few days ago too... d'oh!!
has anyone got some grey ones that dont mind sending me for not much!
cheers
changeing the rest of the interior is def out of the question, ive been after some brown fairmont ghia door trims so if anyone knows where to pick some up from give me a yell.
Jolly Rogers Wrecker on Greens Road, Dandenong has two EA Ghia's with brown interiors. The door trims are still there...
As for fitting the map pockets, i put some in the other day. There are 5 screws holding each pocket in from the back. The easiest way to fit them to your doors is to position them on the front, press them down really hard. When you lift up the pocket, you can see imprints on the door from the screw holes. Then just drill through the imprints.
Thanatos: is jolly rogers a self serve wrecker and if yes how many ea's do they have there etc... and do they have any fairmont ghias with grey trim?

jolly rogers is a self serve, but i think its free to get in (i've only been there once) they had quite a few EA's when i was there, no idea on if they have Ghia interiors though.
