door trim strip

wanted a pair of these to colour code for my interior and got a quote a while back from ford for $120 or something EACH! he said its because theyre woodgrain imitation or some crap...

have now seen a pic of some non-woodgrain ones and would be assuming theyd be much cheaper

ive attached a pic of what im after and can tell that its in a T-series but can someone clarify specifically what exactly i need to ask for, and maybe a rough price?

cheers

Re: door trim strip

Yeah im interested in these to Falkeen.
Do you know how they are fitted wouldnt the cloth/leather trim be differnt or does this fit over it.

Oh and i did the black headlights, BA scuff plates, crome gear leaver spacer and crome door handles this weekend. Just like to say a big thanks to you for the info and ideas.

Re: door trim strip

Seeing the AU and BA doors (at least the skins) are the same - would the BA door trims fit on the AU? Any idea how much trouble to line things up if swiches etc are in different positions?

Falkeen - I'm surprised you haven't thought of doing this!

i would put money on the fact that the skins would fit!
only real issue id be concerned about it the door handle mounting situation, would need to look at it

wouldnt be worth it imo, 1. would be quite expensive and 2. wouldnt match anything else in the interior, importantly the dash
