Has anyone out there replaced the material on EB door trims?? I have a velour interior and the door trims (aswell as the seats, but that is another problem) are starting to show there age.

i am tossing up the idea of either changing them to EL door trims or taking the time over xmas to pull up the velour and replace with something better wearing such as a crazy bright purple fur (only jokes).

Am i crazy?? is it better to put EL door trims on and save the headache??

The only reason i am going with the EL door trims is i just can't find any decent EB door trims arround anywhere, if you happen to know of a place that sells them i would be only to happy to hear of them. How much would i expect to pay for EL door trims and i assume you can still get them new.

Replaced the door trims on my eb., alot of work., alot of time., but one hell of a finish at the end of the day!

i too are in the process of changing the door trims to EF in my EB i bought them for ten dollars each with the inside door handle they are the futura type with the grab handle on the front trim and have no winder holes so i will have to do a front power window conversion.
problem is how do you change the inside door handle rail that runs to the latch on the back doors there aint alot of room there.
and the screw holes for the door trims dont line up.
im just waiting to find some electric winders cheap somewhere
till then ill keep the EB ones on.

Well, in my 95 Futura (EF) I have a bit of a problem.
The driver side front window (electric windows btw) has just come out of the lifter. I want to remove the door trim and I'll probably just selastic it back in.
Any tips for removing the door trim? Will I need circlip pliers or anything special before I start the job?
Any help greatly appreciated.
